Diamond Polishing Pads
Diamond polishing pads are used to give marble, granite and fabricated stone a beautiful glossy finish commonly seen on granite countertops or marble vanities. The 4” diamond polishing pads used on hand held granite countertop polishers are normally used for finishing sink cutouts or granite countertop edges. These diamond polishing pads are also used to polish concrete countertops, tile, small sections of polished concrete floors and other masonry polishing jobs. Diamond polishing pads are available in various grit sizes and final buffing pads. The low number sizes are used to get rid of the rough stuff while the higher numbers signify finer grit used for a glossy finish.
Diamond polishing pads can be used wet or dry. You can use wet buffing on concrete and hard stone. On granite countertops you can use a wet polishing pad for polish and later follow up with a fine grit dry polishing pad for final gloss.
